Job description
Reliability Key Responsibilities:
Electronic system design for Sensor interfacing, Power management, Battery management and Digital signal processing as part of new product development process.
Realizing electronic systems that achieves target performance/reliability based on provided specifications from other product components.
Translating electronic system designs into physical, manufacturable board layouts.
Coming up with set of experiments and performing them to tackle unclear system issues.
Functional and reliability simulations and verification of electronic systems.
Verification of PCB designs and layout to release them for fabrication and assembly.
Support PCB testing and characterization activities and contribute with hands-on troubleshooting and debugging of the designed PCBs.
Interface with multidisciplinary engineering teams, PCB board manufacturers and suppliers to deliver the designed solutions from prototypes to volume production.
Communicate with system component suppliers and customers if needed.
Job requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in electrical engineering.
3-5 years of experience in the semiconductor or hardware development and design industry preferably in a similar position
Excellent electrical evaluation, testing and PCB troubleshooting skills.
Familiarity with MATLAB coding and Simulink is preferable.
Experience with integrated circuits design and layout flows is a plus.
Experience with PCB design flow, tools, manufacturing and assembly processes is a plus.
Knowledge in the area of electronic system packaging is a plus.
Must be self-motivated, quick learner, self-starter and autonomous.
Ability to smartly handle several design and testing tasks happening simultaneously.
Excellent attention to details and follow-up, well organized and able to progress according to plans to meet deadlines.
Must exhibit excellent interpersonal skills and work well with other groups in a team environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills and English proficiency.
