Si-Ware is seeking a hands-on and motivated intern to join our team this summer in a role focused on Rapid Prototyping and Surface Functional Coatings.

As an intern, you’ll gain practical experience working with 3D printing, 4-axis CNC milling, and surface finishing techniques like anodizing and electroplating. This is a unique opportunity to apply your skills in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where you’ll contribute to real engineering challenges and help transform digital designs into functional mechanical parts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Help create parts using 3D printing and CNC milling.

  • Prepare and finish parts through sanding, polishing, or coating.

  • Support surface protection processes like anodizing and sandblasting.

  • Assist in setting up tools and equipment as needed during the process.

  • Work with engineers to turn designs into real, functional parts.

Job requirements

Technical skills:

  • Basic knowledge of 3D printing and CNC machines.

  • Familiar with CAD tools (e.g., Fusion 360, SolidWorks).

  • Understanding of materials and surface finishing methods.

  • Comfortable using hand tools and setting up workshop equipment.

Qualifications:

  • Junior or senior student in production, materials and chemical engineering or related field.

  • Passionate about fabrication, prototyping, or hands-on work.

  • Willingness to learn and take initiative in practical tasks.

  • Works well in a team and communicates clearly.
