We're looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Intern Business Analyst to join our team for a six-month internship. Key Responsibilities
Requirements Gathering: Assist in gathering, documenting, and managing business and technical requirements.
Process Analysis: Help analyze existing business processes and model future processes using tools like BPMN and UML diagrams.
Data Analysis: Conduct basic data analysis to support business decisions and identify trends.
Project Support: Support the project team by contributing to project planning and tracking using tools like Jira or Trello.
Documentation: Create and maintain clear, concise documentation, including process flows, user stories, and reports.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers and product managers, to ensure project success.
Job requirements
Required Skills and Qualifications
Education
Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
Technical Skills
Basic knowledge of databases (SQL) and APIs.
Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello).
Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
Familiarity with process flow diagram tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart, draw.io).
Analytical Skills
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
Ability to analyze data and interpret results.
Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
Ability to conduct basic gap analysis.
Familiarity with business process modeling (BPMN, UML diagrams).
Communication & Soft Skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for reporting and documentation.
Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Active listening and an understanding of stakeholder management.
