We're looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Intern Business Analyst to join our team for a six-month internship. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment and contribute to meaningful projects. The ideal candidate is a proactive learner with a passion for bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Requirements Gathering: Assist in gathering, documenting, and managing business and technical requirements.

  • Process Analysis: Help analyze existing business processes and model future processes using tools like BPMN and UML diagrams.

  • Data Analysis: Conduct basic data analysis to support business decisions and identify trends.

  • Project Support: Support the project team by contributing to project planning and tracking using tools like Jira or Trello.

  • Documentation: Create and maintain clear, concise documentation, including process flows, user stories, and reports.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers and product managers, to ensure project success.

Job requirements

Required Skills and Qualifications

Education

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.

Technical Skills

  • Basic knowledge of databases (SQL) and APIs.

  • Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello).

  • Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.

  • Familiarity with process flow diagram tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart, draw.io).

Analytical Skills

  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.

  • Ability to analyze data and interpret results.

  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.

  • Ability to conduct basic gap analysis.

  • Familiarity with business process modeling (BPMN, UML diagrams).

Communication & Soft Skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for reporting and documentation.

  • Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Active listening and an understanding of stakeholder management.

  • Adaptability and eagerness to learn quickly.

  • Strong team collaboration skills.
